My New Book Tells How AI May Save the World-Or Not

I’m beyond thrilled to announce a new book project on artificial intelligence (AI) and global warming.

My author is Antonis Mavropoulos, a respected scientist, and a career waste management expert. Based in Athens, Greece, he is passionate about AI and technology. He has worked internationally with companies on this issue and previously published an environmental book called Industry 4.0 and the Circular Economy.  Our new book will recount many of his first-hand success stories where AI has reversed emissions and improved the climate.

He is passionate about technology and is a pioneer in using web and mobile apps as well as crowd-sourcing to promote recycling and improve waste management.  

Working internationally with companies and governments, Antonis has countless examples of how Artificial Intelligence (AI), used in the name of corporate efficiency, can contribute to global warming, which poses the greatest of all threats to the preservation of life.

Our book will argue that AI is a powerful tool that can reverse the current trajectory. It can significantly reduce greenhouse gasses in numerous significant ways. Our book will be all about how AI can help to reverse our planet’s current trajectory toward extreme famine, unbreathable air, unbearable weather, and the extinction of most animals and crops.

We will argue that, for the planet to survive, immediate action is necessary and AI, framed properly, will provide substantial solutions to each major environmental problem.

Since this is a book about AI, we will use ChatGPT as a power tool that will enable us to complete the book faster.

Most Important Book

I’ve written seven books under my own name and have served as a ghostwriter on four previous projects, but I feel this will be my most important book.

AI can become a catalyst in global warming, which has his deep-rooted sense that AI is one of the best tools for reversing global warming and that actions need to be taken soon. As his writer, it will be my job to translate his best thoughts into the words and structure of a book that just might help to preserve the world.

Unlike, my previous ghostwriting projects, where authors put me under NDAs, Antonis wants me to play a public role in the development and promotion. My name will be on the cover, and I will be posting about it regularly in my newsletter and on social platforms. My Author shares with my faith in crowd wisdom, so we will post excerpts and invite feedback.

Even in this announcement, it is tedious to keep referring to this book, so we need a working title. Very often, my books have had many titles before the final one clicked. For example, Naked Conversations, my first book, started out as The Red Couch and it took 12 revisions before the final title was locked in just before deadline.

This time, we start with the working title of Two Roads: How AI Will Save the World or Not.  We are not satisfied yet. Do you have a better idea? If so, we can only reward you with recognition here and an acknowledgement in the book when we publish it.
